A green tamale weighing approximately 200 grams has 618 kilocalories, 39 grams of fat, 66 grams of carbohydrates, 5.4 grams of protein, only 1.2 grams of fiber and up to 430 milligrams of sodium.
A sweet tamale that also weighs approximately 200 grams has 430 kilocalories, 21.5 grams of fat, 49.5 grams of carbohydrates, 5 grams of protein, only 0.6 grams of fiber and up to 330 milligrams of sodium.

Advice to eat tamale calories
Do not overdo it: if they had tamale breakfast, do not eat or dine, just one or maximum two a day and enjoy them. They will affect their weight and health if they eat tamales daily and more than two a day, but if they consume them occasionally, they do not have to worry, at least that they already have some medical restrictions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity and so on.
Are there ways to make tamale calories healthier since its preparation?
You would have to remove the lard and nixtamal add a spoonful of baking powder for each kilogram. This results in the desired consistency with fewer calories.
