There are many options that you can choose in terms of protecting yourself as a physician. One of which is medical insurance or medical indemnity insurance. This type of insurance protects both the insured and the physician or doctor from being sued as a result of negligence. In order for a physician to obtain medical indemnity insurance, certain conditions have to be met. This includes meeting certain requirements as well as fulfilling regulations pertaining to education, professional conduct and other matters. For information on Medical Indemnity, go to MPRS

How to protect yourself as a physician is something that you must first understand. The first step you must take in order to make sure that your medical insurance company will cover your medical expenses in the case of an accident or emergency is to complete the required paperwork. It would be highly inadvisable to attempt filling any form on your own if you don’t know what you’re doing. In addition to making sure that your insurance company provides you with the medical insurance coverage that you require, you should also ask them for advice and assistance regarding various insurance plans and coverage.
